Education and Background

A native of the Mahoning Valley, Edward J. Hartwig graduated from South Range High School before attending John Carroll University (B.S., cum laude, 1995). There, he played baseball and was a member of the Psi Chi National Honor Society. He earned his law degree from The University of Akron School of Law in 1998 and was the recipient of the CALI experience for Trial Advocacy Award.


Currently, Attorney Hartwig is a member of the Mahoning County Bar Association, where he served as President from 2013-2014, and he currently serves on the Board of Trustees.
